The SS25 assignment was to create an updated, luxurious version of our best selling Nubikk Basket Court. The goal was to preserve the essence of the original design while elevating it with a more sophisticated, high end touch.

Although the two models share a similar silhouette, they are distinct enough to appeal to customers who might want to own both.

In approaching this project, I focused on experimenting with new techniques while retaining the same upper. The aim was to transform familiar lines, like those from the Basket Court, into high frequency techniques. For example, I incorporated silicone inserted line prints on the sides of the shoe.

To make the design bolder, I used a fuller, wider last and selected a new, thicker outsole. The shoe is crafted from the finest Italian leathers, elevating the overall quality and feel of the style. Additionally, almost every edge on this design is either folded or painted, adding to its refined craftsmanship.
